From Te Aroha:
Either
Take the southern road from the Town Clock past the Domain on your left and the Grand Hotel on your right. Travel for about 10 kms on the Te Aroha-Gordon Road to a set of cross-roads and turn right down Shaftesbury Road. Travel for just over 2kms, over the Waihou River and the entrance to ‘Shaftesbury Glade Cottages’ is located on the right opposite the Manawaru Hall.
Or
Travel west from the Town Clock over the Te Aroha Bridge and turn left at the T-junction to start travelling south. Keep travelling south along Stanley Road South to Te Aroha West where the road changes name to Alexander Road. About 1.5 kms from Te Aroha West, turn left into Manawaru Road and travel about 5 kms to small rural village of Manawaru. Turn left just past small white wooden church into Shaftesbury road and about 150m turn left into entrance for ‘Shaftesbury Glade Cottages’ which is located opposite the Manawaru Hall.

1st Night - $150. Extra $20 fee if you require full, country style breakfast items to be in cottage for first morning breakfast.
2nd Night - $140
3rd Night - $130
Longer than 3 nights, rate is negotiable.
For 'Longer Holiday Weekends or Holiday Breaks' such as New Years Weekend, Auckland Anniversary Weekend, Easter, Queen's Birthday Weekend, Labour weekend and Christmas; there is a minimum two night stay.
